The Foreign Ministry announces the opening of an additional national card system in Frankfurt.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened today, Tuesday, an additional system for issuing the unified national card at the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Frankfurt, in implementation of the directives of Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to facilitate the processing of transactions for citizens residing abroad.

The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the opening of the system came as a result of direct and continuous coordination between the relevant departments in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior, aiming to enhance the operational capacity of the consulate and respond to the increase in demand for national card issuance services.

The ministry confirmed that this step contributes to increasing the consulate's capacity, speeding up the processing of transactions, and reducing waiting times, noting that the scope of the system's work includes members of the Iraqi community across all EU countries to meet their needs and strengthen communication bridges with state institutions.
