The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced today, Friday, the implementation of a large-scale military operation named "And Allah is Stronger and More Severe in Punishment" in the western coastal districts of the Taiz and Hodeidah governorates.
Saree stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the military operation began on September 3rd from several fronts with wide participation from the tribes to deter the mobilization of Saudi forces and confront the ongoing siege, indicating that the operation resulted in expelling Saudi mobilizations from six districts covering a total area of 5,400 square kilometers, in addition to targeting seven military units consisting of 38 brigades, killing, capturing, and injuring hundreds of their personnel, along with liberating a number of prisoners.
Saree added that the armed forces carried out 32 operations against warplanes and shot down nine of them despite the air cover, confirming the continuation of maintaining the equation of siege by siege and escalation by escalation until the cessation of military operations and the lifting of the siege, affirming that maritime navigation is safe for all companies except for Saudi ships covered by the ban.
