The Meteorological Authority announced today, Monday, details of the weather conditions in the country for the coming days, while expecting rainfall for three consecutive days.
A statement from the authority received by the news agency stated, "Tomorrow, Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy in the central and northern regions and clear with some clouds in the southern region, which will turn to partly cloudy at night, with temperatures dropping a few degrees from the previous day across the country."
The statement continued, "The maximum temperatures for tomorrow, Tuesday, in all provinces of Iraq are as follows: Duhok 30, Sulaymaniyah 32, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Anbar 33, Erbil 34, Salah al-Din 35, Karbala 36, Baghdad, Diyala, and Najaf 38, Babylon 39, Wasit, Al-Diwaniyah, and Al-Muthanna 40, Maysan and Dhi Qar 41, Basra 43."
It added, "On Wednesday, the weather will generally be partly cloudy with a chance of light rain showers in the western sections of the central region, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day across the country."
It indicated that "next Thursday, the weather will generally be partly cloudy with scattered rain showers in the northern region, sometimes accompanied by thunder, and temperatures will rise slightly from the previous day throughout the country, with very good horizontal visibility (8-10) km and in the rain (4-6) km."
It mentioned that "the weather on Friday will generally be partly cloudy with rain showers in the northern region, sometimes accompanied by thunder, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day across the country, with very good horizontal visibility (8-10) km and in the rain (4-6) km."
