Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed today, Friday, that the regional quad meeting discussed the regional situations in Iran, the Gulf countries, and Yemen, noting that there was an agreement on the necessity of finding solutions to these conflicts.
Fidan said during a press conference on the sidelines of the Istanbul meeting of the regional quad, as reported by "Video News Agency," "We discussed during our meeting with the foreign ministers of Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia the potential attack on Iran, the Ansar Allah attacks on Saudi Arabia, and the Israeli aggression in the region, as well as ways to find solutions to these issues."
He added: "We support ending the war in the Gulf and solving problems through dialogue," explaining that "a potential military operation against Iran is not the right solution, and no one supports it."
He stressed: "Any new attack on Iran will lead to an escalation of the war in the region."
