The death penalty for a convict who killed his uncle in Baghdad.

The leadership of the Karakh Police announced today, Thursday, the issuance of a death sentence for a convict who killed his uncle and his cousin west of the capital, Baghdad.

The leadership stated in a statement received by "Al-Fadi News Agency" that "the Karakh Criminal Court/First Panel issued a death sentence by hanging for a convict who executed a premeditated plan to kill his uncle and cousin."

It added that "the teams from the Karakh Directorate for Combatting Crime / Abu Ghraib Department uncovered the details of the crime and arrested the perpetrator after meticulous monitoring and gathering information and evidence, with the support of the technical efforts of the directorate."

It confirmed "the continuation of its efforts to pursue criminals and present them to justice to receive their due punishment according to the law."
