Our national youth team bid farewell to the Gulf Cup of Football under 17, today Thursday, after losing to their Saudi counterpart by a goal to nil, in the final match of Group B of the tournament held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The Saudi team scored the goal through player Abdulaziz Al-Nahhad in the 88th minute of the match, which took place at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha.
Group B included, in addition to our team, the teams of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, and Kuwait, while the teams of Egypt and Yemen qualified for the semi-finals after finishing in first and second places, respectively, in the tournament hosted by Qatar with the participation of 10 teams.
