The Health Insurance Authority announced today, Sunday, an update to the electronic platform "Dhamani" aimed at accelerating registration and issuance of cards, while revealing the launch of the health insurance system in three new governorates next month.
The General Director of the authority, Ali Ahmed Obeid, stated that the new updates include the adoption of QR code technology, which allows linking card data to the system and application electronically, contributing to simplifying the registration and card delivery procedures for citizens.
He explained that the authority has opened 8 outlets for distributing health insurance cards on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa in Baghdad, indicating the possibility of choosing a delivery outlet through a link that appears to the beneficiary after completing registration on the "Dhamani" platform.
He added that the expansion plan will include the governorates of Nineveh, Anbar, and Dhi Qar next month, after completing the administrative and technical preparations, including preparing the authority's headquarters, training the staff, and selecting and contracting with health institutions.
