The first deputy of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ali Nikzad, emphasized that the Iranian people do not intend to negotiate on the nuclear issue under any circumstances or pressure.

Nikzad affirmed, in his speech during the virtual public session today, that America's enmity towards the Iranian people stems from a civilizational conflict, and that Washington has been striving since before the victory of the Islamic Revolution to humiliate and subjugate Iran," citing the humiliating capitulation law that was passed during the Pahlavi regime.

Nikzad pointed out that "the Iranian people, led by Imam Khomeini, decided to regain their independence and historical greatness under authentic Islam, ended that oppressive control, and then expelled America from Iran after storming the former US embassy and exposing documents of its conspiracies and crimes."

He added that "the Iranian people remain steadfast in their decisive resolution and firm determination to live freely and independently, and that this national pride and freedom can only be achieved through strength."
He stressed that "the seemingly civilized world is still ruled by the logic of the jungle, and that peoples seeking dignity must become strong," asserting that "Iran has shown in recent wars a model of its own strength, and it will arm itself with all the tools of power it needs."

He continued that the recent war proved that the only way to address the arrogant is through the language of strength, which shattered the myth of the invincible American military, and showed that America is just a loud empty drum that cannot withstand the will of peoples."

Nikzad viewed that "the delusional American president is seeking through two tracks, diplomatic and military, to regain his lost prestige, but he faces trial in the conscience of peoples, after incurring heavy costs on the economy of America and the world."

He added that "America and its allies have collided with the hard wall of reality regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and in facing the epic of the Iranian people and their continuous presence in the streets for eight months, and the strength and will of the Iranian armed forces," stressing that "it is America that will surrender in this war, not Iran, and that any repetition of error in military confrontation will face an immediate and effective response without geographical constraints, as confirmed by the Leader of the Revolution in his meeting yesterday with senior military leaders."
