A mysterious attack targets a Qatari gas tanker in Gulf waters with no injuries.

Qatari company "Nakilat" announced that the liquefied natural gas carrier "Al-Maida" was attacked by unidentified objects while sailing in the waters of the Arabian Gulf last Friday evening, confirming the safety of all crew members and that there was no leakage or environmental damage.
The Qatar News Agency "QNA" reported, citing a statement from the operating company, that the incident did not result in injuries among the crew, while the nature of the objects used in the attack or the responsible party has not yet been disclosed.
The incident comes amid escalating tensions in the region and ongoing restrictions on shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz since the outbreak of war in the Middle East, following the start of American and Israeli strikes on Iran on February 28.
Iranian forces require passing ships in the strait to use a specific route and coordinate with them, while the southern passage near the coast of Oman is considered unauthorized, increasing the challenges faced by maritime shipping in the region.
