Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed today, Sunday, his hope that the policies of the member countries in the "BRICS" group will contribute to neutralizing the arbitrary unilateral actions taken by the United States in the region and the world.
Pezeshkian stated in a press release after concluding his participation in the "BRICS" summit in the Indian capital New Delhi, which was reported by the News Video Agency, that the efforts of the Iranian delegation focused on clarifying the positions of the Islamic Republic and following up on the main pillars based on resilience, innovation, and cooperation, noting that productive talks were held with member states and countries wishing to join the bloc to expand economic, security, and political exchanges.
Masoud Pezeshkian added that the final statement of the summit condemned attacks targeting nuclear facilities and civilian infrastructure alongside rejecting unilateral sanctions, reiterating the continuation of coordination with the Indian side to develop bilateral understandings and confront coercive pressure policies.
