Iraq and the United Kingdom open new horizons for building effective trade partnerships.

Finance Minister Faleh Sari confirmed today, Sunday, that the government is moving forward in supporting the private sector and expanding its role in the Iraqi economy while creating an attractive investment environment for quality companies.

The media office of the Ministry of Finance stated in a press release received by the Video News Agency that the minister welcomed a delegation from the Iraqi-British Business Council headed by Baroness Emma Nicholson to discuss investment opportunities and the possibility of expanding economic partnerships between the two countries.

Faleh Sari clarified that the ministry is working to diversify the economy and provide the necessary facilities for both the local and international private sectors, while Baroness Emma Nicholson expressed the council's interest in expanding the activities of companies and enhancing investment opportunities across various sectors.
