Ali Kermiyan, the Secretary General of the Union of Islamic Radios and Televisions, decided today, Monday, to appoint Modar Al-Bakaa to lead the Union of Iraqi Radios and Televisions.

Kermiyan stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the union expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Hamid Al-Husseini for his efforts and contributions during his leadership of the union in the exceptional circumstances that the region has faced, and his role in enhancing media presence and defending the issues of the nation.

Kermiyan added that the union congratulates the appointment of Modar Al-Bakaa to the presidency of the Union of Iraqi Radios and Televisions, affirming the aspiration to continue the spirit of cooperation, coordination, and the elevation of the media message to serve the causes of truth and justice.
