Communications Minister Mustafa Sand announced today, Wednesday, the launch of the official website of the ministry in its new design, in addition to the inauguration of a new governmental application dedicated to complaints and testing internet speed via smartphones.
Sand stated in a statement received by the "Video News Agency" that "we are announcing today the redesign of the official website of the Ministry of Communications and its launch in a modern and contemporary manner, in response to the desires and feedback from technicians and specialists," affirming that "this change and update has been completely implemented by specialized hands and staff from the Ministry of Communications."
He explained that "the website in its new design provides an interactive display of the map of Iraq, the routes of the optical cable, and the ministry's projects in various provinces, which is a map that can be continuously updated and developed to add future projects," indicating that "the site supports multiple languages including Arabic, Kurdish, and electronic/English to facilitate users' access to services and information."
The Minister of Communications added that "the (Ministry of Communications) application has been officially launched for citizens through the (App Store) and (Google Play), which is concerned with receiving citizens' complaints related to the internet services associated with the ministry exclusively, without including mobile phone networks (4G)," pointing out that "the application also provides a feature to measure the internet service speed for subscribers to the ministry's services."
Sand emphasized that "the work is characterized by flexibility and complete transparency, and that the ministry adopts an open approach to address any comments or suggestions made by specialists or citizens to develop the application and the website in the future to achieve the best service for the citizen."
