The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, revealed today, Wednesday, that the Saudi warplanes launched 42 airstrikes and a missile in the past 24 hours targeting civilian sites in the capital, Sana'a, and the provinces of Taiz, Lahij, Marib, Amran, and the island of Moyon.
Saree stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the airstrikes were carried out using "F-15" and "Typhoon" aircraft that took off from the Khamees Mushait and Taif bases, in addition to missile aggression from Najran, bringing the total number of airstrikes since the escalation began to 2,323 air and missile attacks.
He added that targeting Moyon Island with air and missile strikes directly threatens maritime navigation routes, holding the Saudi side fully responsible for all repercussions resulting from this and the threats it poses to the safety of maritime navigation.
