Iraq is promised thunderstorms.. clouds are knocking on the doors of the north and center.

Meteorological forecasts expect the continuation of unstable weather conditions in several areas of Iraq on Thursday, coinciding with the beginning of the seasonal rainfall.

Meteorologist Sadiq Atieh stated, in a clarification reviewed by the "Video News Agency," that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with chances of thunderstorms in the form of varying intensity showers, ranging from light to moderate at times, particularly focused in the northern region and scattered areas of the central region.

He added that the chances of light rain will extend during the evening and night hours to include areas west of the cities of Najaf and Samawah, indicating that the intensity and distribution of the rain will depend on the developments of the weather situation.

Atieh urged caution from thunderstorms and to avoid open areas during storms, as well as being attentive to downdrafts which may cause dust to stir in some areas.
