A pink campaign by the Ministry of Finance to raise awareness and promote early detection of breast cancer.

The Ministry of Finance, through the Women’s Affairs Department in the Minister's Office, launched an awareness campaign today, Wednesday, for early detection of breast cancer in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Iraqi Cancer Council, coinciding with the arrival of October Pink month. The aim is to raise awareness about the importance of early screening and its role in enhancing treatment and recovery opportunities, as well as encouraging women to undergo regular check-ups.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the campaign included the arrival of a mobile unit specialized in screenings to the ministry center and its affiliated departments.

It added that the unit provides screening services to female employees over the course of two weeks, which contributes to facilitating access to health services and enhancing prevention and early detection measures.
