The Meteorological and Seismological Authority warned today, Sunday, of the continued chances of rain in several regions of the country.
The authority said in a statement received by the Video News Agency, that "the state of atmospheric instability will continue to affect the weather in the country on Monday, November 2, 2026, with continued chances of rain in several areas, according to the following details:
Northern Region: Chances of varying intensity rainfall, accompanied by periods of heavy rainfall in specific locations, with lightning and thunder occurring intermittently.
Central Region: Chances of rain in scattered areas, concentrated more in Anbar and Salahaddin Governorates, generally light to moderate.
Southern Region: Possible light rain showers during the day in scattered and limited areas.
It added that "during the nighttime hours, the chances of rain tend to weaken in most areas, while continuing in some parts of the northeastern region.
It noted that "the intensity and spatial distribution of the rainfall remain variable depending on the development of clouds and their areas of activity, which are monitored continuously in the weather forecasting department."
