The Iranian Soleimani becomes the coach of the Iraq Taekwondo team.

The Iraqi Taekwondo Federation signed a coaching contract today, Monday, with Iranian coach Mohammad Soleimani to take over the coaching of the Iraqi national team for the sport.

The first deputy of the Olympic Committee, Abdul Salam Khalaf, stated in a press interview that the National Olympic Committee of Iraq is committed to supporting national federations by signing contracts with Arab and foreign coaching talents, in line with its vision to develop Iraqi sports and enhance the performance level of the teams.

Khalaf emphasized the necessity for the federation to collaborate with the new coach and to provide the essential resources he needs, ensuring his success in his mission and enabling him to build a distinguished base of promising talents.

For his part, Iranian coach Mohammad Soleimani pledged to exert maximum effort and utilize his technical and administrative expertise in order to elevate the performance and results of Iraqi athletes, achieving commendable accomplishments for Iraq in continental and international arenas.
