Iranian Shura Council Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf warned decision-makers and the public in the United States, on Thursday, that choosing the wrong path against Iran will not bring any benefits, but rather its consequences will be severe and catastrophic by all measures.
In a post on X platform, which was reviewed by the "Video News Agency," Qalibaf stated that those who believe that waging war against Iran serves their interests are mistaken, noting that such an option would lead to no less than ten catastrophic consequences; ranging from the collapse of stock markets and the loss of fighter jets to the exacerbation of national debt, rising inflation rates, and an increase in the number of soldiers who will perish in battles.
He added that the implications for American society would be extremely grim, emphasizing that the U.S. administration and the public there are not obligated to take this path, but if they choose to go down it, they will have to bear all the resulting consequences.
He called on U.S. decision-makers and the public to break this artificial mold and distance themselves from this bitter game that yields no benefits.
