The Mustansiriya University held today, Thursday, the fifth international forum "Knowledge and the Hussaini Message" in cooperation with the Cultural and Educational Committee of Arbaeen in the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the slogan "The Hussaini Uprising and the Prophetic Message," aimed at highlighting the scientific and humanitarian dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Safa Al-Aysawi, the President of Mustansiriya University, affirmed that the university is always keen to host scientific conferences and focus on topics that have a significant impact on both Iraqi society and the Islamic community in general.
Al-Aysawi told the Video News Agency that one of the most prominent topics is the Arbaeen pilgrimage and the noble goals it carries, which has made it a very important subject for researchers to address through their studies.
For his part, Sheikh Adel Al-Karawi pointed out that the matter of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) has gone beyond the limits of the holy city of Karbala and has reached all corners of the world, noting that the evidence of this is these conferences held in academic institutions at Mustansiriya University, College of Arts, with academic attendance and the presentation of scientific and academic research on the revolution of Imam Hussein and his Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Al-Karawi stated to the Video News Agency that the millions attending the revolution of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his Arbaeen are not only from Iraq but from many countries in Europe, Africa, and North Africa.
He emphasized that even those who did not know Karbala before now recognize it through the Hussaini and Arbaeen revolution, allowing the Hussaini message to reach all of humanity.
