The city of Erbil is preparing for the launch of the 18th Erbil International Book Fair, which will take place tomorrow, Wednesday. A reporter from the Video News Agency stated that this edition will see the participation of more than 400 publishing, printing, and distribution houses from 18 countries, and the events will continue until the end of this month. The fair presents thousands of titles in various fields and specialties, as part of a cultural event aimed at promoting the publishing and reading movement, and gathering publishing houses and those interested in books and knowledge. The fair is organized by the Mada Foundation for Media, Culture, and Arts, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Youth in the Kurdistan Region Government and the General Union of Writers and Authors in Iraq, in coordination with the Publishers Association in Iraq. The fair's doors will be open to visitors daily from 10 AM to 8 PM throughout its duration.
