The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, "Ismail Baqaei," confirmed today, Wednesday, in response to recent statements by the U.S. Secretary of State, that the U.S. itself is responsible for the insecurity and chaos prevailing in the region, yet it demands a condemnation of Iran.

"Baqaei" stated in a post on the "X" platform, in response to the U.S. Secretary of State's call for countries around the world to condemn Iran due to the insecurity in the Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz, that they attacked Iran twice in less than nine months during negotiations, slaughtered our children in Minab, killed our girls in Lamerd, assassinated our leaders, and intensified pressure on Iranians by imposing various types of economic sanctions; and now, after their blatant violation of the understanding they themselves signed to end the war, they demand the world to condemn Iran while claiming victory.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that the world is today paying the price for the violations of the law by the U.S. and the Zionist entity and their military aggression, ranging from chaos in the region to economic insecurity and energy security around the world.

"Baqaei" concluded his post by stating: You cannot ignite wars and plunge the region into chaos, then assume the role of the accuser and demand others to condemn the victim. Nor can you evade responsibility and accountability by distorting the facts and portraying the aggressor as a victim and the victim as an aggressor.
