The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Bezhakian, confirmed that all regional problems stem from America's war-provoking tendencies and that threats and sanctions must be lifted before any negotiations.

During his reception in Tehran on Tuesday evening of Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistani army, President Bezhakian expressed his appreciation for the Pakistani government's efforts to monitor and reduce tensions and to resolve issues through diplomatic solutions. The Iranian president praised Islamabad's efforts to lower tensions and address issues through diplomatic channels while also reviewing America's violations of its commitments by attacking Iran amidst negotiations, emphasizing that all the region's problems arise from America's war-provoking tendencies, and that it must lift threats and sanctions before any negotiations. In this meeting, President Bezhakian highlighted the historical violations of commitments by Americans, including the attack on Iran during negotiations, the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution, and innocent scholars and students without any legal justification, stating: "All the problems that have arisen in the region, from escalating tensions and conflicts to the disturbance in the Strait of Hormuz, are all related to the Americans' war-provoking tendencies. All their allegations against our country are baseless because we have proven our good faith in negotiations and inspections in the nuclear file within the framework of international laws and regulations." He stressed that the Americans must first demonstrate their willingness to lift threats and sanctions in preparation for dialogue, clarifying: "It is not feasible to tighten sanctions and pressures day by day, close the routes leading to our country, and then claim dialogue and negotiations. What kind of dialogue is this?"

President Bezhakian added, emphasizing that we know that war is not in our interest, nor in the interest of the region and the world, nor even in the interest of the United States: "The Americans must answer why they have ignited this war that has plunged them and the world into immense problems and difficulties." He said: "We have been and remain ready for dialogue, but the Americans must first lift the threats and sanctions, and then we can begin dialogue, because if they truly seek dialogue and agreement, these actions contradict their claims and are illogical." He continued, indicating that they have committed all these criminal acts against our country and region, falsely claiming that the country is seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, while our leader, who has repeatedly affirmed the inviolability of nuclear weapons, has been martyred, putting the region in a predicament, stating: "They will certainly not achieve their goals through war, and they will bring nothing but destruction and ruin, not only for Iran but for the entire region; this is something we do not want to happen." He emphasized the need for them to prove to our people that they do not want to lie to us this time, saying: "Our people do not trust America today and believe that if we negotiate, they will attack us again." He added: "They constantly promote in the media their desire to attack our country to intimidate our people, while our people do not fear martyrdom. You, as Muslim brothers, must make it clear to them that Muslims will not be treated this way. We do not want to deal with anyone through the logic of force, but we will not submit to force either.

* Asim Munir emphasizes the importance of resolving issues through diplomatic solutions. During the meeting, Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistani army, expressed his pleasure in meeting Dr. Bezhakian and provided an explanation of the diplomatic measures and efforts made to reduce tensions. Expressing his concern over the possibility of renewed war, he stressed the importance of resolving issues through diplomatic solutions and Pakistan's readiness to help in resolving them. He also expressed regret over the failure of the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad, stating: "Negotiations never mean weakness or submission or surrender to America, as the Iranian people have repeatedly proven their dignity, capability, and strength to the world; rather, it is an opportunity to resolve issues through a path other than war, conflict, and insecurity." He outlined the problems that have arisen in transportation routes between the two countries and provided a report on security measures in that region, announcing that the issue had been raised immediately with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and that the previously temporary problem had been resolved this morning.
