Egyptian artist Ahmed Saad revealed that he is suffering from voice strain before the release of his album "Arabic Music," which has hindered the completion of his song recordings and put the release date at risk of being changed.
Saad explained in a video posted on his official Facebook account that he intended to release the album on Wednesday, October 28, but he has only managed to record two songs out of five included in the work, due to strain caused by frequent singing at wedding parties.
The artist now faces two options: to postpone the release of the album completely until he finishes recording the songs, or to release the two ready songs on the scheduled date and delay the other three songs to a later time. He indicated that he has not made a decision yet, especially since he has previously announced the release date to his audience.
Saad mentioned that he received advice to limit his singing and reduce effort during wedding parties, but he finds himself engaging with the attendees, sharing their joy with enthusiasm stemming from his happiness about the occasion, rather than responding to audience requests.
Saad described the "Arabic Music" album as the most challenging in his artistic career, explaining that he is fulfilling a dream he has had for years, which is to present Arabic music that reflects his singing identity. He expressed his sadness for not being able to complete the song recordings on schedule.
The crisis comes at a time when Saad is working on a musical project that involves releasing five albums in 2026, each presenting a different musical style.
The artist began the project by releasing "The Sad Album" in mid-April, followed by "The Cheerful Album" in June, and then "The Electro Album." His plan also includes "The Arabic Music Album" and "The Orchestra Album."
Saad's comments about his voice strain come days after his participation in several artistic and social events, including the wedding of Mustafa Shobeir, the goalkeeper for Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team, which was attended by several artistic and sports figures.
