Shar' reveals attempts to drag Iraq into a regional war.. and Baghdad clings to calm.

Political analyst Atheer Al-Shar' expressed that there are attempts to inflame the regional situation and push Iraq towards involvement in the ongoing war in the region, stressing that Baghdad insists on the option of de-escalation and rejects military escalation.
Al-Shar' stated, in a statement followed by the news video agency, that "Iraq categorically rejects any escalation occurring in the region, despite the proposed scenarios and the ongoing military escalation at the moment."
He added that "U.S. President Donald Trump is heading towards escalation that serves the interests of Netanyahu and the Zionist entity, pointing out that the Iranian administration is aware of the nature of what is happening, despite its declaration of not wanting to go towards military escalation."
He clarified that "Iraqi positions confirm the importance of adopting a language of de-escalation and not inflaming the situation, ensuring the stability of the region and sparing it the dangers of wars," indicating that the leaders of the resistance factions are exhibiting rationality, contrary to what is rumored about attempts to drag Iraq into war.
