The weather forecaster Sadiq Atiyah clarified today, Sunday, the details of the expected weather conditions over the coming days, noting the chances of light, scattered rain showers in the northern regions of the country, alongside an increase in humidity levels in the southern cities.
Atiyah stated in a press interview that I reviewed with "Video News Agency" that temperatures in the central and northern cities will drop by about 3–4 degrees Celsius from Monday to Wednesday, before slightly rising again on Thursday, with clouds continuing to appear intermittently.
He added that the chances of light, scattered rain showers are possible in some areas of northern Iraq during tonight and tomorrow, Monday, while the winds will vary in direction and speed.
In the south, Atiyah indicated that surface humidity will peak on Monday and Tuesday, before dropping slightly on Wednesday and Thursday, gradually ending on the evening of Friday, September 11, with winds stabilizing to a northwestern direction.
He pointed out that clouds will appear intermittently on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with a weak and limited chance of rain showers on Wednesday, while temperatures will remain close to the averages of the past days.
