The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities announced today, Sunday, its move towards a digital environment in content production and the preservation of Iraqi heritage, while confirming the distribution of cultural periodicals to Iraqi embassies to promote antiquities, museums, and heritage sites.
The ministry's representative, Fadel Al-Badrani, stated in a press interview reviewed by "Video News Agency" that the ministry is working to transition from traditional methods to a digital environment in content production, focusing on preserving and promoting Iraqi heritage, as well as producing visual materials and issuing cultural periodicals for distribution to embassies.
He added that these materials aim to promote Iraqi culture, museums, antiquities, and archaeological sites, alongside theatrical activities in Baghdad and the provinces.
Al-Badrani pointed out that the Music Arts Division has achieved a milestone by including the santur instrument in UNESCO's list, affirming that funds have been allocated for its maintenance and preservation.
He noted that the Music Arts Division intends to launch a number of musical and artistic concerts and evenings in the capital, Baghdad.
