The Governor of Al-Muthanna, Mohannad Al-Atabi, today, Sunday, directed the mobilization of efforts and machinery to control a fire in the commercial axis in Samawah.

The governor's office stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "Governor Mohannad Al-Atabi was present on the ground at the site of the fire in the commercial axis in the city of Samawah to oversee control efforts, coinciding with the full mobilization of civil defense teams, security forces, and supporting service entities.

The governor confirmed, according to the statement, that he directed the mobilization of all efforts and machinery and the use of government agency resources to support firefighting operations and mitigate its effects, praising the great efforts made by civil defense teams and security and military formations and service agencies.

Al-Atabi emphasized that the safety of citizens and the protection of their properties is a priority, confirming the continuation of field monitoring until full control over the fire is achieved.
