The coach of Al-Shorta Club, Sami Al-Trabelsi, expressed his dissatisfaction with the goalless draw against Gaz Al-Shamal, in the match that took place during the seventh round of the Iraqi Premier League.
Al-Trabelsi said during the press conference followed by the news agency after the match that the result does not satisfy the team, considering the draw to be a loss, especially since Al-Shorta created many opportunities in the first half, before the attacking solutions diminished in the second half.
He added that the physical aspect clearly affected the team's performance, pointing out the players' lack of speed and ability to execute transitions as required.
Al-Trabelsi explained that Al-Shorta is one of the teams that makes the fewest substitutions due to injuries, coupled with limited options available on the bench, which reflected on the team's performance during the match.
The coach of Al-Shorta confirmed that his team was capable of presenting a better performance and achieving a different result, but the physical conditions and lack of options influenced the performance, especially during the second half.
