The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced today, Saturday, that the results of the upcoming Gulf Cup matches will be included among the official matches of national teams.
According to FIFA's decision, which was reviewed by the "Video News Agency," the matches of "Gulf 27" have been included in the record of the Iraqi national team on the official website of the international federation.
Thus, the results of the tournament will directly affect the points of the participating teams in the FIFA monthly world ranking, as it is an official tournament organized by the Gulf Football Federation.
The "Gulf 27" competitions will be held in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 23 to October 6, 2026, coinciding with the FIFA Days period, allowing teams to utilize their professional players and main rosters.
