The Yemeni armed forces clarified in a statement received by the Video News Agency, through their official spokesman Yahya Saree, that they have successfully carried out a significant and extensive military operation targeting military facilities and infrastructure, including warplane hangars, radars, runways, ammunition storage, and other objectives at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, thanks to God.
The statement noted that the operation was conducted using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones, affirming that the strikes were accurate and direct, causing substantial damage to the base by the grace of God and His power.
It mentioned that the operation was a response to the brutal Saudi aggression targeting our country and our people, along with the large-scale escalation carried out through over 300 airstrikes in the past five days by Saudi warplanes of the "F15" and "Typhoon" types, which targeted most Yemeni governorates and took off from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases.
The statement confirmed that the armed forces will continue their significant military operations into the Saudi depth as long as the unjust aggression against the Yemeni people continues, and that any new aggression will be met with wider and stronger operations, God willing.
It emphasized the continuation of solidifying the equation of siege with siege, escalation with escalation, and targeting Saudi reinforcements until the aggression stops and the siege on our homeland ends.
