Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Ali Al-Zidi directed the cancellation of contracts with intermediary companies and restricted the authority to conclude contracts exclusively to the Military Industrialization Authority, in a move aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the national military industry and improving the efficiency of contract management.
A government source, in a statement followed by the Fadyo News Agency, said, "Prime Minister Ali Al-Zidi made a visit to the Military Industrialization Authority, during which he reviewed the workflow and the authority's plans aimed at developing its production and industrial capabilities."
He added that "Al-Zidi directed the cancellation of contracts with intermediary companies and restricted the contracting authority exclusively to the Military Industrialization Authority, which enhances its institutional role, limits mediation loops, and improves contract management efficiency."
The source indicated that the directive aims to ensure that available resources and capabilities are directed towards supporting the national military industry and enhancing the authority’s role in developing local production.
