Higher education launches a new phase of artificial intelligence with the opening of a specialized institute at the technological university.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Haidar Baha Al-Husseini, inaugurated the High Institute of Artificial Intelligence at the technological university today, Thursday, confirming the ministry's focus on developing the educational system and enhancing the connection between knowledge, skills, and applied research that contributes to serving the community.
Al-Husseini stated in a statement followed by the Video News Agency that his visit to the technological university included the opening of the Artificial Intelligence Institute and inspecting the university’s facilities and scientific and research capabilities, in addition to monitoring the efforts of its professors, noting that the university represents an important model for moving towards the concept of a productive university and enhancing applied research with a direct impact on society.
He added that the educational system in Iraq is moving towards a new phase based on the integration of knowledge and skill, allowing students to apply what they acquire from science and experience in practical fields that contribute to the country's development.
He continued that the ministry's work plan focuses on transforming Iraqi universities into effective institutions with a positive impact on society and enabling students to acquire the necessary skills and experiences to build their future, confirming the commitment to implementing these directions in the upcoming phase.
