The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Haibat al-Halbousi, confirmed today, Monday, Iraq's steadfast position calling for the primacy of dialogue and diplomacy, and the adoption of peaceful solutions to end tensions, which would enhance security and stability in the region.

The media office of the Speaker of the House stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the Speaker, Haibat al-Halbousi, received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Irfan Siddiq.

The statement clarified that the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, as well as the latest developments in regional and international situations and their implications for the region.
