The "ECHO Iraq" observatory specialized in economic affairs announced that the total exports of Iraqi crude oil reached 533.46 million barrels, with an estimated value of 37.39 billion dollars, during the period from January to September 2026.
The observatory mentioned in a statement received by the Video News Agency that an official document issued by the Iraqi oil marketing company "SOMO" and directed to the parliament showed that the total quantities exported amounted to 533,459,327 barrels, while the value of the exports was 37,388,384,828 dollars.
It added that the amounts deposited in the Central Bank of Iraq's account reached 33,511,194,387 dollars, according to the data provided in the document.
Regarding oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, the observatory clarified that the quantities of northern oil reached 50,757,644 barrels, with an average daily rate of nearly 188 thousand barrels, while the quantities of Kurdistan oil reached 25,095,454 barrels, with an average daily rate of about 93 thousand barrels.
The observatory emphasized the importance of enhancing transparency in publishing oil export data and the revenues generated from it, which contributes to ensuring the alignment of exported quantities with financial revenues and strengthening oversight over oil resources.
