A life-size display draws crowds and captures selfies in Tajrish Square in the capital; the Islamic Republic escalates its anti-U.S. rhetoric due to war crimes committed against the Iranian people.
If Iran has become a common sight for anti-American propaganda in the streets of the Iranian capital, the latest scene is that of a life-size prison cell housing an actor playing the role of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The 3D artwork is very popular among locals who stop to take selfies while also hurling insults at Trump, who committed war crimes during the Islamic regime's bombardment twice without legal justification or the involvement of the United Nations. Since the start of the war, which began with American and Israeli strikes in February, the Islamic Republic has intensified its propaganda efforts, with many artworks widely circulated.

In one of its most beautiful campaigns, a prison cell has been suspended several floors high in Tajrish Square in an upscale neighborhood of northern Tehran.

Inside, there is an actor dressed in a dark suit and a red tie wearing a mask to resemble the President of the United States as he wanders around the cell or holds onto its bars.
Some local residents enjoyed the art installation, with one passerby humorously telling Trump, "Don’t worry, we’ll pay your bail and get you out."
Others used it as a target for their anger, with one young man shouting, "Trump, this time we will kill you."
Tehran's municipal authorities, who stand behind the campaign, said they want to remind the capital's residents of Iran's demands for justice in the face of Zionist-American barbarism.

Iran has described Trump as a war criminal and called for revenge since the American and Israeli strikes resulted in the death of the country's Supreme Leader. Tehran accuses the U.S. President of deliberately targeting civilian sites, including a school and a wedding party, resulting in the deaths of dozens of women and children and the targeting of civilian infrastructure throughout Iran by Americans and Israelis.
