A new decision from the Hajj Authority regarding the winners of the 2028 lottery and the travel date.

The Higher Commission for Hajj and Umrah called on the citizens who won the Hajj lottery for the year 2028 and wish to advance their travel to visit the commission offices in Baghdad and the provinces.

The commission stated in a statement received by "Al-Faqih News Agency" that "Due to the requirements for completing the administrative and technical procedures for the upcoming Hajj season 2027 by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the lack of follow-up by a number of citizens eligible for Hajj in 2027 and the previous years, it has been decided to invite the winners of the 2028 lottery who wish to advance their travel."

The commission pointed out that "the inclusion of the winners of the Hajj lottery for 2028 to go to the upcoming Hajj season for 2027 will be according to the order of applicants to complete the administrative procedures and medical examination."

The commission had previously urged those eligible for Hajj in 2027 and previous years to expedite their review of its offices and warned against delaying their travel, in order to complete the administrative and technical requirements for the upcoming Hajj season.
