The education authority prohibits assigning students homework after school hours.

The Ministry of Education/The General Directorate of Curricula issued, today Sunday, a directive to all General Directorates of Education in the provinces, prohibiting the assignment of homework to students after official school hours or during holidays, through social media, for all primary, intermediate, and preparatory education stages.

The ministry stated in a statement received by "Video News Agency" that "the directive emphasized limiting homework and school activities to the time of the class period and the actual school day, to maintain the psychological and health stability of the students, and to provide sufficient time for them to rest and connect with their families, holding school administrations fully responsible for violating these instructions."

The General Directorate of Curricula called on the relevant directorates to "disseminate the directive to schools and work accordingly."
