Ghalibaf comments on the candidacy of an Emirati diplomat: "The fox is running for the chicken coop's guard."

Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly Speaker "Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf" wrote in response to the announcement by "Lana Nusseibeh," the former representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, regarding her candidacy for the position of UN Secretary-General that "the fox is running for the guard of the henhouse."

Qalibaf mentioned in a post on the "X" platform, which was reviewed by "Video News Agency," that it is an attempt to seize the highest position in the United Nations, aiming to diplomatically pave the way for the so-called "Greater Israel" project in the region, and to cover up a crime of systematic genocide.

He added that "Lana Nusseibeh's" professional record does not go beyond defending the Gaza catastrophe; the fox is updating its profile on the "LinkedIn" platform to apply for the job of "guarding the henhouse."

Qalibaf shared excerpts from an old interview with "Lana Nusseibeh" in which she defended the normalization of relations and cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Zionist entity.
