The Iraqi U-15 national team lost to their Haitian counterpart by three goals to nil, concluding their participation in the World Cup and the FIFA festival for under-15 age categories, held in Azerbaijan, placing them 62nd out of 188 participating teams.
Previously, the Iraqi team achieved a victory over El Salvador with a score of (3-2) on Thursday evening, while on the same day, they lost to Georgia in a penalty shootout (3-4), after the original time ended in a 2-2 draw.
The U-15 team had lost the opportunity to compete for higher positions in tier (B), following their loss to Madagascar (1-2) and Guatemala in a penalty shootout (3-4) last Wednesday.
The tournament is held in a futsal format, with 8 players on each team, on courts measuring (68×47) meters, consisting of two halves, each lasting 20 minutes, targeting players born in 2011 and 2012, with the aim of developing their skills and enhancing their experiences through international exposure.
