Early on Tuesday, U.S. President Trump reiterated his threats regarding an attack on Mount Klink in Iran. Trump claimed in an interview with Fox News, followed by the News Video Agency, that Iran possesses a number of missiles and drones, but its ability to produce more is very limited. He alleged that Iran is not in a good negotiating position and that its economy is collapsing, stating, "We can attack the facilities at Mount Klink in Iran whenever we want." The aggressive U.S. president further asserted, "We may have to target the facilities at Mount Klink in Iran, and we can do that within one hour." Trump continued, repeating his previous false claims: "The Iranians are very eager to reach an agreement, and there is a very good chance to achieve this goal." He feigned humanitarian sentiments, claiming, "Reaching an agreement with Iran, if possible, would be the best way to save many lives." The American president continued his accusations, saying, "We will negotiate with Iran from a position of absolute strength, and we can end this [situation] whenever we want." Trump insulted the Iranians again, asserting, "We should not allow Iran, this evil nation, which has killed a large number of our people... to possess nuclear weapons!" In an attempt to justify the prolonged war imposed on Iran compared to the initially claimed timeframe of three to four weeks, he said, "What is war? War means fighting. Look at World War I and World War II. When was the last time you saw us at war with Iran?" The delusional American president claimed they had bombed "all potential nuclear power of Iran," adding, "We spent $30 billion on this war with Iran. Well, that’s a very small amount." Attempting to downplay U.S. losses in the war with Iran, Trump stated, "This is not a war. This is a very light war! They have no money, and their inflation is 300 percent. So we are not at war!" He added, threatening Iran with full-scale war if it does not comply with an agreement with the U.S.: "We dealt them a very strong and harsh blow. Their naval forces were destroyed, along with 159 armed ships." The U.S. president had previously claimed in an interview with Axios that negotiations with Iran were ongoing and that things were going well.
