Integrity leads to the dismissal of 5 employees in Nineveh Education for manipulating fake receipts and decides to suspend them.

The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Tuesday, the arrest of five employees from the Nineveh Education Directorate, in connection with manipulating purchase receipts and attaching fake receipts to purchase transactions.
The Commission stated in a statement monitored by the Video News Agency that a team from the Nineveh Investigation Directorate moved to the headquarters of the General Directorate of Education after monitoring information indicating cases of manipulation and forgery in the purchase receipts of one of the directorate's departments.
It added that the investigation and auditing operations resulted in the arrest of five employees accused of being involved in those violations, as well as the seizure of the related purchase transactions to take legal action regarding them.
The Commission pointed out that the audit and investigation work continues to identify the wasted financial amounts as a result of organizing purchase transactions and attaching fake receipts, confirming that a regular seizure report was drafted according to the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code.
It continued that the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity cases, decided to detain the five defendants pending investigation.
