The Minister of Electricity discusses smart transition projects and the development of the national system with the American ambassador.

Today, Tuesday, Minister of Electricity Ali Saadi Wahib received the Chargé d'Affaires of the American Embassy in Iraq, Ambassador Stephen Fagin, to discuss enhancing joint cooperation in developing the electricity sector and smart transformation projects.
The Ministry of Electricity stated in a statement followed by the Video News Agency that "the meeting addressed smart transformation projects and their role in improving the management of the electrical system and increasing its efficiency, as well as discussing current and future projects of American companies operating in Iraq."
It added that both sides discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation in implementing strategic projects, with the minister emphasizing the importance of continued joint coordination and leveraging modern expertise and technologies to contribute to increasing the efficiency and stability of the national electrical system.
