A medical source in Kirkuk Province reported today, Sunday, the killing of a taxi driver on the road to Baghdad south of the province, in an incident whose circumstances remain unclear.

The source stated in a press interview obtained by "Video News Agency" that the taxi driver died from his injuries, noting that his body was transferred to the forensic medicine department in Kirkuk to complete the legal and medical procedures.

He added that the security forces began investigating the incident and imposed measures at the scene to determine the details of what happened and identify the reasons and responsible party for the driver's death.
