Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced a seven-day logical plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume negotiations.
Araghchi stated in an interview with the "Meet the Press" program, which was followed by the News Video Agency, that Tehran is ready for diplomacy and war simultaneously, emphasizing that Washington is the one that violated the previous agreement and unjustifiably withdrew from it, noting that they are waiting for an official response through intermediaries regarding the new proposal.
Regarding the plan to open the Strait of Hormuz, he mentioned that the proposal requires Washington to take specific measures within four or five days, to reopen the strait on the sixth day, and resume final negotiations on the seventh day.
Regarding the possibility of resuming war, he clarified that Iran is fully prepared for all scenarios and will face any aggression firmly, even if it leads to a destructive war, noting the development of military tactics and benefiting from previous confrontations.
On the issue of uranium enrichment at 60 percent, Araqchi indicated that the measure is legal and falls within the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons for peaceful and medical purposes, stating that resolving fundamental issues requires first building trust, lifting the blockade, and releasing frozen funds.
Regarding leadership protection measures, he confirmed that the Supreme Leader's absence from video clips is due to clear security considerations to protect him from American threats, stressing that he manages situations and issues directives immediately amidst national consensus and full coordination between state institutions and the Revolutionary Guard.
