Economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi warned today, Monday, of potential repercussions facing Iraq if the American decision to close Iraqi airspace to Iranian aircraft is implemented or not adhered to.

Al-Marsoumi stated in a post that he shared with the "News Video Agency" that implementing the decision could lead Iran to stop the flow of gas and electricity to Iraq, while failing to implement it could result in the United States taking measures that prevent the flow of cash dollars into the country.
He added that Iraq faces difficult choices amid these challenges, expressing his concern about their potential repercussions on the Iraqi economy.
