Iran complains to the International Civil Aviation Organization about the United States.

The head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization announced today, Monday, that the country has lodged a protest with the International Civil Aviation Organization regarding the restrictions imposed by the United States on the Iranian aviation sector.

The Iranian official, in a press interview reviewed by "Video News Agency", stated that Tehran has submitted the protest to the international organization, considering that the American measures and restrictions imposed on Iran affect the civil aviation sector and limit the ability of Iranian airlines to access the necessary services and capabilities to operate their fleet.

Mohammad Makaber, advisor and assistant to the Iranian leader, hinted at retaliating against countries that have suspended flights of Iranian airlines, warning that the continuation of the restrictions imposed on Iranian aviation could impact air traffic in the region.

Makaber said in a post on his account on the "X" platform, "Air traffic in the region must either be available to everyone or not available to anyone."

He added: "If Iran cannot operate flights and obtain airport services, then no country in the region will be able to do so either."
