The second anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din has come upon us, and today, Saturday, a memorial gathering was held in Tahrir Square in the capital Baghdad, during which the continuation of popular support and steadfast positions towards the axis of resistance was emphasized.
To learn more about the stances in this gathering, former MP Maeen al-Kadhimi told the News Video Agency that the Iraqi people continue their support and backing for the axis of resistance on this second anniversary.
He pointed out that the meeting in Baghdad and other provinces expresses pride in these great figures who humbled global arrogance, making Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah a beacon for the free and honorable in the world, while Israel has become an outcast. This was clearly evident during the United Nations General Assembly meeting when more than 77 countries withdrew during Benjamin Netanyahu's speech, as the brutality with which Israel operates became apparent to the peoples of the world.
Al-Kadhimi clarified that this anniversary is a symbol of the victory of the resistance axis in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, and the Islamic Republic, affirming the renewal of the pledge and the expression of the true will of the Iraqi people.
For his part, political analyst Khaled Abu Iraq confirmed to the News Video Agency that the martyr leaders have always proven that they are at the forefront in empowering their followers with strength and continuity, pointing out that victories were achieved by their blood, which they inherited from their grandfather Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) when his blood triumphed over the sword.
Abu Iraq added that these experiences increase determination and self-confidence, asserting that the memory will not be erased and that the pledge and loyalty continue along the path of the martyrs.
