Deputy Sami Oshana revealed today, Friday, that there are movements by the Babylon Movement to obtain the Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons, by proposing individuals under the label of independents despite their affiliation with the movement.
Oshana stated, in a statement followed by the News Video Agency, that one of the candidates listed for the vote on the ministerial cabinet is the wife of a senior leader of the Babylon Movement, who holds the position of President of the Christian Endowment at the ministerial level.
He added that granting the ministry to this individual does not represent justice for the Christian component, but rather leads, as he put it, to a concentration of government positions in the hands of a single family.
He indicated that his bloc's objection to this nomination contributed to the postponement of the vote on the Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons, amid ongoing disputes regarding the mechanism for selecting candidates for ministerial positions.
