Iraq's oil exports recorded an increase of 9.5% in October, reaching 3.35 million barrels per day, approaching pre-war levels, coinciding with an increase in oil shipments from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait.
According to data from oil tanker tracking reported by Bloomberg and monitored by the News Video Agency, the combined exports of the four countries rose by 10%, amounting to 15.53 million barrels per day, amid efforts to boost global supplies and overcome navigation challenges in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iraq ranked second in terms of the increase among the four producers, with shipments via the port of Basra rising and nearly doubling through the northern route passing through Turkey.
In contrast, Saudi Arabia recorded the largest increase in its exports, which reached about 7 million barrels per day, while the UAE's exports reached 3.74 million barrels per day, and Kuwait's reached 1.44 million barrels per day.
These developments reflect the recovery of Gulf oil exports, as producing countries aim to restore pre-war shipping levels and enhance their share in global markets, amid ongoing concerns about supply disruptions and regional tensions.
